Doc Summary
Buying equipment. You pay the item price plus a Service fee of 5% + 50p per order. We show the total on as its own line at checkout, before you pay. Postage is extra where the seller charges it.
Booking a lesson, arena, livery, experience or hire. The price you see is the price you pay. There are no additional Booking fees.
Enquiring about a horse, pony, horsebox or trailer. Free. You agree the sale directly with the seller, and no money for the horse or vehicle passes through Horse Marketplace.
Selling. Our seller fee is 8% and includes card processing, so nothing else comes off your payout. It is lower on monthly plans: 6% on Private Seller, 5% on Business and 4% on Business Unlimited. To advertise a horse, pony, horsebox or trailer you need a Private Seller or Business plan, from £14.99 a month.
Refunds. If an equipment order is refunded, the Service fee is refunded with it. Booking refunds follow our Booking Cancellation Policy. Nothing is deducted for card processing.
Paying by card. We never add a surcharge for paying by card.
